Congratulations to Denton Hewgill Sensei and Itoh Takeji Sensei

Congratulations to Denton Hewgill Sensei for being awarded 8th Dan Certification from Musou Jikiden Eishin Ryu Seitokai, and Itoh Takeji Sensei for being awarded Kyoshi Certification, also from Musou Jikiden Eishin Ryu Seitokai.

Denton Hewgill Sensei, President of the Canadian Iaido Association, was awarded Seitōkai 8th Dan certification without Shinsa. This arrangement was specially granted by the late Ikeda Sōke and Seitōkai headquarters due to the respect and recognition of his many years of practice and contributions to Iaido. Itoh Takeji Sensei was also awarded Seitōkai Kyoshi without Shinsa due to his long years of outstanding Taikai performance and record in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu.

We thank both Sensei for their continued dedication to Iaido in Canada and Japan!
